If this is what you you are experiencing, ( what the photo above shows ) then you have a situation that the stainless portion of the sleeve which the top mast in the photo shows broke loose from the black portion of the sleeve which the lower mast in the photo shows.  If this is so then the missing portion of the sleeve is still in the antenna and needs to be removed.  Click here for instructions on removing that remaining portion of your broken sleeve.
